 Studies show that there is no single pattern of difficulty for Dyslexic people. For some, the struggles may come in the form of having trouble reading simple words, even if they have encountered these words many times. Others read slowly and often feel they have to work extra hard when reading. While some Dyslexic people mix up the letters in a word, such as reading the word "now" as "won" or "left" as "felt." For people with Dyslexia, words blend together and spaces are often lost.

Another significant part of my life is having a Learning Disability. Living with this type of disability is like living in a garden. Much like the flowers I grow, I had to tend and care for. All flowers and plants go through the same process to grow.
 In honor of World Dyscalculia Day, we would like to shed some light on what dyscalculia is. Over my 10 plus years working with learners with Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and Dyscalculia, I have found that many learners struggle with math and math anxiety, and they are not aware that dyscalculia is a thing! Dyscalculia is a learning difficulty directly related to math. To them, it is like trying to understand someone speaking a foreign language they haven’t learned. It causes undue stress, learning obstacles and lower self-esteem.
